FOTD : Hello summer!

Summer is finally back in Dubai. Yes, yes. Summer. There is no such thing as spring here. Bikinis, tank tops, shorts and beach dresses are already popped out and the makeup has gone lighter. But no matter how hot it gets, nothing will keep me from piling up layers of makeup.

Skincare : Dealing with sick skin

I've been sick during this whole week and I'm so surprised by how much an illness can affect your skin. Other than popping pills, drinking hot tea and vitamin C, skin needs 3 times the maintenance that it usually gets. I've gathered all the products that I can find in my bathroom to look and feel normal again.

March's Glambox

I'm not going to lie, I wasn't completely satisfied with this month's Glambox. Don't get me wrong, coming home to a pink box of full sized products brings me an amazing feeling of joy. But this isn't what went wrong this time.

Flawless : Bourjois's 123 Perfect CC Cream concealer

I feel radiant, flawless, fresh, glowy..

Kidding. I'm in bed slowly dying, as we speak. A fever hit me hard this morning. But I'm sure hot tea and Panadol will do the job perfectly. Ever since the beginning of March, I've been put under pressure with exams, school work, staying up late and whatever comes with this lovely package. The usual. Can you just imagine how bad my dark circles are?

Get pouty: Bourjois's Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipsticks

I'm kind of loving all things Bourjois at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I've always loved their products. But I found myself reaching towards Bourjois a lot lately. It started with these new Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipsticks. Oh. My. God. Where do I begin?

On Wednesday we wear pink

I'm really not supposed to be writing this right now. I have a four hour economics exam tomorrow and here I am rambling about makeup, not feeling guilty at all. I gave myself a little break to get away from studying (in other words: I'm procrastinating - what I do best) by playing around with my beautiful toys.

Hair Talk : Maintaining the curly madness

I've neglected my hair ever since, like, forever ago. I always used to get yelled at by hairdressers and stylists for leaving my hair suffer from dryness - I still get yelled at, occasionally. When you have curly hair, not giving a damn about it sure isn't an option, for me at least. Maintaining a jungle as hair strongly incites you to let your hair be (air drying, no leave-in conditioners and sometimes no brushing). I slowly came to realise how wrong I was for not caring at all.

Monthly favourites : My February Favourites!

So it's the end of a little two week holidays for me. I'm going back to school on Sunday with a load of exams waiting for me. I can't wait for this year to finally end. I've used all my mental capacities by using and abusing my brain. Other than that, a few products have entered the love circle this month.

February's Glambox

Have you ever heard of the brand Bliss? I haven't before it landed in Dubai about a year ago. Ever since, I've read so many positive reviews about its products. Of course, being caught up with the extraordinary student life that I have, I completely forgot about that brand. This month, Glambox teamed up with Bliss by gathering a few of the their staple products in a pink box.

Skincare : Neutrogena's Visibly Clear Gentle Exfoliating Wash

There is some sort of universal tradition that consists of getting your first facial wash from Neutrogena. Name me one teenager that never used this brand before. See? No answer. When I was younger, my first skincare product was Neutrogena's Oil Free Acne Wash. In this post, I'm going to talk about another famous cleanser of theirs: Visibly Clear Gentle Exfoliating Wash.
